THE CLAIMS:

 A mango-tinted lip and cheek stain.

THE INSPECTION:

Orange is the trend color right now so I thought I would try this blush.  You wouldn't think orange would look good on your skin or lips but this actually looks really pretty on.

 

It is a gel consistency like the posie tint. The color is bright but once it's on it looks more apricot and sheer. I love that it's a stain and it doesn't come off, but if you apply too much or put it on the wrong place you may have to start over because it does not come off until you wash it off.  In fact, if you use your fingers to apply it, they will be stained all day.  You have to really scrub it off. 

 

You should apply a tiny bit at a time, blend - and see if you need more.  On the lips I had to put on a few coats for it to show up.  I really love the color and staying power of this.  Great natural looking blush!

THE INSPECTION:

This is a great color in the e.l.f. Color Stick!  You can use this as a blush, eyeshadow, and lipstick.  It's a pretty pale pink color with a little shimmer.  You only need a small amount because it is very pigmented.  I like it for a quick makeup day.  It gives your cheeks a pink glow and it's not too heavy.   This lasts a long time and it smells like candy.

DARKER- NIGHT TIME SIDE

One of my favorite eyeshadows! This shade is called Day 2 Night.  I like that one side is for day and the other for a night time look.  The colors are very pretty and pigmented. Just like the claims say, you can get a natural or dramatic look with this.  I also love the cute little mirror that it comes with!  This is a great eyeshadow!

THE INSPECTION:

This is the 3rd BB Cream I have tried.  I think I was expecting a lot  from this one because it is Estee Lauder.  Compared to the other BB Creams I have tried,  this one has the least coverage.  It's also a lot drier and didn't go on very smoothly.  It made my skin look dry instead of moisturized.  You can work with it to smooth it out, but it just was not that impressive.  I do like how it smells (cucumbers) and love that the SPF is 35.  I will probably have to mix this with a lot of moisturizer or foundation to wear it but I would not buy it again.

THE INSPECTION:

I wish this did what all of the claims said it would do.  I used it for 4 weeks and didn't see any tightening, lifting or reduced wrinkles.  It does feel like a pretty good moisturizer but that's it.  Not much else to say about this.  It didn't work for me, but all products don't always work well on everyone.

THE CLAIMS:

THE INSPECTION:

This is a really pretty face highlighter/luminizer.  It doesn't have big chunks of glitter in it.  It is a very fine shimmer.  If I don't feel like putting on makeup I will put this on.  It gives a very luminous and glowy look.  It doesn't give any coverage for flaws, but it does diffuse imperfections a bit and makes your complexion look radiant just like the claims say.  I also use it over makeup on my cheek bones.  I found all of the claims for this to be true except the part about improving skin firmness.  (Too Bad).  I love it!

THE INSPECTION:

Nothing fancy....but it works!  One of the best eyelid primers I have ever used.  It comes in 4 shades but I can only find the "sheer" at Target.  The other 3 shades are Champagne, Pearl, and Golden.  You can find these on the eyeslipsface website.  This does exactly what all of the expensive primers do and probably better in my opinion.  My eyeshadow stays on all day, doesn't crease, and I never have to touch it up.  I love this!!

RIMMEL LONDON SEXY CURVES MASCARA

THE INSPECTION:

I hated this mascara. I experienced the opposite of everything the claims say.  It didn't curl or really lengthen my lashes.  It clumped them together and it took forever to dry. The more I put on, the worse it got. The brush works good on the bottom lashes. The only other good thing I have to say is I love the colorful packing.

THE INSPECTION:

COLOR: BABY LIPS - THE MOST NEUTRAL

I love this lipstick!  I have a lot of e.l.f. products, but I had never tried this one yet.  One of my nieces had this on one day and it looked gorgeous!  When she told me she had this on in Pink Lemonade, I had to go get it.  I ended up buying all of the colors that Target had which was only 4.  (Perfect Pink, Baby Lips, Mauve, and Pink Lemonade).  

PINK LEMONADE

They all have a gold shimmer to them but the Pink Lemonade seems to have a lot more gold in it.  The website is the place to go to really see all of the colors they offer.  I was impressed with the moisture and how long they stayed on.  The colors are not that pigmented but are very pretty.  They are subtle, but not too natural looking.  The tip is like a sponge and it makes it very easy to apply as it keeps any excess contained so you don't waste product.  Only one has a brush applicator (mauve) and its called hyper shine gloss.  I'm not sure why this one is different than the others.  There is not a lot of product in this, but at least they show you how much you are getting.  You have to twist the bottom about 10 -15 times to get the product to the tip.

One of mine broke when I twisted it and now the tip won't work, but I can still use it because I just put the product in another container.  I have heard that this does happen sometimes.  That would be the only con.  I guess I could return it, but since it is only $1.00, I probably won't.
