 THE INSPECTION:

Another product with great claims but poor results.  This did nothing at all.  The sales pitch on this was great!  But when I tried it, nothing happened.  The before and after pictures look believable, but don't waste your money.

THE CLAIMS:

THE INSPECTION:

The claims on this product are ridiculous!  None of them are true and this did nothing for me.  There was no firming, no tighening, and no change in skin structure.  I used it for 10 days, (claims say will see results by this time) twice a day.  It is a good moisturizer, but so is Suave at the drug store for $1.99.

THE INSPECTION:

This does not work.  I don't know how these companies get away with stating claims that are just not true. I tried this for 2 weeks.  I didn't see any instant results or any reduction of any wrinkles.  Nothing changed on my skin.

  

The formula is thick and feels like a silky powder finish on your face.  When I used it during the day, I put this on first, then my moisturizer with sunscreen. When I started putting on my foundation, everything started rolling off my face.  When I used it at night, I only used this and a night moisturizer.  Everything stayed on.   I was excited about the claim of seeing an instant result and a 14 day result, but it didn't happen ( for me anyway).

THE INSPECTION:

I wish this did what all of the claims said it would do.  I used it for 4 weeks and didn't see any tightening, lifting or reduced wrinkles.  It does feel like a pretty good moisturizer but that's it.  Not much else to say about this.  It didn't work for me, but all products don't always work well on everyone.

THE INSPECTION:

This system is extremely intense.  You can really feel the current on your face. The current seems to go really deep into the muscles on your face, which I like because it feels like it's doing something.  

 

But that is the only good part about the product that I found since using it.  This is a brand new product from the Serious Skin Care line, and I have a feeling they will be working out the kinks of this based on customer feedback. You have to use a conductive gel which is fine, but you have to continually apply the gel for the hand held units to move smoothly.

 

 It is also made with cheap plastic.  It doesn't seem like it would last a long time.  The other problem is the cord between the units gets in the way and it is hard to position it where you need to.  I feel like it would work if all of these complications were worked out based on the intensity it gives.  I do like that you can do both sides of your face at the same time which saves time. I was disappointed and luckily I could return this within 30 days so I did send this back.  I would purchase this again if they improve the system and the material that it is made of.

THE CLAIMS:

FaceMaster is a Facial Toning System that uses micro-currents of electrical energy to stimulate and strengthen underlying facial muscles to temporarily reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. 

 

It claims to make users look younger without facial surgery. 

Although each individual is different, you may find that your facial muscles feel more toned, your skin appears firmer, your upper lids may appear firmer and make the eyes look more open, your lips may look plumper and the cheek muscles will appear firmer and fine lines and wrinkles may appear to diminish.   

The FaceMaster has been cleared by the FDA to be used at home, for the purpose of stimulating facial muscles to achieve cosmetic results.    

THE INSPECTION:

This is a really great at home device that works pretty good if you are willing to put in the time and be consistent with it.  If you are thinking about getting botox or fillers or even plastic surgery, I would give this a try first.  I am not opposed to getting injections or plastic surgery, but even the best doctors can make a mistake.  I have heard of getting a droopy eye after a botox treatment.  That can take 3 to 6 months to wear off!  Also, some fillers can leave you with lumpy skin.  It is kind of scary.  And it is very expensive. 

This machine uses two electrostimulation wands, dampened with a conductive solution, to manipulate the face.  You cover each probe with a foam cap. Saturate the caps with the toning solution before application. Turn the machine on and press the tips of the probes together for a couple of seconds before releasing. You'll touch the probe to each area of your face and hold them in place for approximately 10 seconds in each position. The intensity of the probes can be adjusted based on your preferences. 

SAME TREATMENT IN A DOCTORS OFFICE

They recommend that you do this at least two to three times per week for optimal results.  It comes with really good instructions and pictures to show you what to do.  I have never re ordered the conductive solution.  I just use a moisturizer or something like corn huskers gel moisturizer. It works the same as the solution.  I have found that this works the best on the eye area and the lower face.  You can tell a difference after you do a treatment.  The problem is when you stop doing it, everything goes back to the way it was.  And in my opinion, you really need to do it everyday for significant changes.  One of the cons I have found with this is that it can be very time consuming because you have to do one side of your face at a time. Also, one treatment can take 30 minutes to an hour depending on how long you want to spend on an area.  Overall, I do like this and it is a lot cheaper than a treatment at a doctors office as long as you are willing to put the time in.
