BENEFIT ROLLER LASH MASCARA

$24.00

SEPHORA, ULTA, BENEFITCOSMETICS.COM

THE CLAIMS:

A mascara inspired by hair rollers, this super-curling and lifting mascara gives a sexy, wide-eyed look. Its patent-pending Hook ‘n’ Roll™ brush features tiny custom-designed hooks to catch, lift, and curl even short and straight lashes.

Bye-bye, eyelash curler! Roller Lash not only lifts and super-curls, but this instant curve-setting formula holds for 12 hours, is easy to remove, and contains provitamin B5 and serine, known for their lash-conditioning benefits.

THE INSPECTION:

This is the best mascara that I have ever used so far.  The brush is so unique.  It really gets your lashes to a long length that is very noticeable. One good coat is all you really need.  If you do go in for a 2nd and 3rd coat- like all mascaras- it starts to clump together.

As the claims state, you do not need to curl your lashes. This works without the lash curler, but I still curl mine unless I am in a hurry.  One of the negatives I have about this mascara is that it does not state on the package that it is a waterproof formula.  It is waterproof and it is very hard to remove, even with an oil based remover.  You will need some Q-tips nearby when applying this because if you accidentally get some below or above your eyelids you need to remove it immediately or it will not come off without a remover.

The only other negative is the price.  Since the brush on this mascara is what makes this so great, I tried dipping it into some of my other mascaras to see if I would get the same result.  It worked just as well so I wash the brush and use it with my other brands. The only downfall would be that you will need to wash the brush each time as it will not screw in the tops of the other mascara brands so you cannot leave it in.  But it's better than paying $24.00 every time I need a new one.
